I've seen tons of improvement, but most importantly what other people have told me about my voice. My band members in particular. We hadn't been playing for about a month and when I came back, everyone was talking about and really complimented on my voice...just within a month they were already able to tell the difference in my voice.
~Mariana F., voice student My daughter began taking both singing and guitar lesson two years ago and is making incredible progress. Soon after my daughter, I decided to "go for it" and try lessons myself. I looked for another teacher not wanting to 'cloud the line' between my daughter's goal to be a professional and mine to just have fun with it. The other teacher was competent, but I felt I was lacking something in my strumming on the guitar.
After a couple of years, I saw how well my daughter was playing in proportion to me. I decided to ask Lauren, to teach me to play guitar. After a few lessons, I was thrilled at how specific the lessons are and how competent I felt and still feel when I follow her thorough, yet easy steps to learning a song. I have learned different strumming patterns, proper hand placement and so much more. I drive up from Bridgewater which is about an hour drive. The reason I do that is because its been hard to find a really good teacher where I'm from. I've been looking to work with a professional, someone that really knows how to teach & performs & knows what I want to do. It's really hard to find a teacher like that....I taught myself guitar for a bout a year or two...In the past four months I've gotten much better than in the past two years.

It's got more a depth to it now which I like.
