drive up from Bridgewater which is about an hour drive. The reason I do that is because its been hard to find a really good teacher where I'm from. I've been looking to work with a professional, someone that really knows how to teach & performs & knows what I want to do. It's really hard to find a teacher like that....I taught myself guitar for a bout a year or two...In the past four months I've gotten much better than in the past two years.

I'm a 53 year old lawyer with three teenagers. I started taking lessons with Lauren last year and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I have no music background and no “natural talent”, but I love music…I look forward to my weekly lessons because it’s a total change from the rest of my life. Her approach is steady and gauged towards results.. After a year, I’m playing the Stones, Eagles and Buffet with enough skill to earn compliments from my wife and kids, difficult critics to say the least.

Thank you so much. You've totally given [Karen] the bug with the Coffeehouse. You are an absolute huge influence on her. I can't thank you enough. We look forward to another year of lessons with you....We are so proud of her and we absolutely love you as a teacher. You've kept her motivated. I don't think she would have stuck with it if she had any other teacher.

I've been with [Lauren] 2 months now and she's taught me a lot. I've noticed the difference. [Lauren] encourages me every class. Every session I learn something new...When I leave the sessions I leave even more jacked up than when I came in

~ Phil, guitar student

Lauren has gotten me from essentially nowhere with a guitar to playing the intros to some of my favorite songs...She is knowledgeable, patient, and flexible, everything one would look for in a teacher.

~ Larry P., guitar student

I really enjoyed working with you because your teaching strategy keeps the student constantly motivated, thus, gradually bringing out the best in them. :) I would love to work with you over and over again.

~ Victor, guitar student

Lauren makes learning the guitar fun and she's very encouraging. From the very first lesson, she always encouraged my playing even though I did not think I really had a talent for playing guitar. She's great at breaking things down and making them simple for beginners. It's really cool to finally be able to do something I have been wanting to do for years.

Did you know that most voice and guitar teachers out there have little or no mistake that so many students do! Lauren is one of those rare teachers who actually has went through elite music teaching training. This means that YOU (her student) are the one who ultimately benefits from her unique set of skills, training and experience. ~ Tom Hess, master guitarist for Rhapsody of Fire, solo artist, and mentor
