When choosing to work with a teacher, it is vitally important that you know whether or not they are committed to your success and whether or not their student have seen positive results. The only way to learn about whether or not your teacher has developed a successful teaching method is to speak with current and former students who have successfully achieved their goals through lessons.
Below, you can find a number of guitar and voice testimonials from students just like you. See below why you should take lessons with Boston Voice And Guitar Lessons.

Did you know that most voice and guitar teachers out there have little or no actual training on 'how to teach voice or guitar'? It's a fact. What does this mean for you? It means that if you choose one of those other 'untrained' and 'unqualified' teachers you won't ever learn how to truly, easily and effectively learn how to sing or play guitar. Don't make the same mistake that so many students do! Lauren is one of those rare teachers who actually has went through elite music teaching training. This means that YOU (her student) are the one who ultimately benefits from her unique set of skills, training and experience.
~ Tom Hess, master guitarist for Rhapsody of Fire, solo artist, and mentorI've seen tons of improvement, but most importantly what other people have told me about my voice. My band members in particular. We hadn't been playing for about a month and when I came back, everyone was talking about and really complimented on my voice...just within a month they were already able to tell the difference in my voice.

My daughter began taking both singing and guitar lesson two years ago and is making incredible progress. Soon after my daughter, I decided to "go for it" and try lessons myself. I looked for another teacher not wanting to 'cloud the line' between my daughter's goal to be a professional and mine to just have fun with it. The other teacher was competent, but I felt I was lacking something in my strumming on the guitar.
After a couple of years, I saw how well my daughter was playing in proportion to me. I decided to ask Lauren, to teach me to play guitar. After a few lessons, I was thrilled at how specific the lessons are and how competent I felt and still feel when I follow her thorough, yet easy steps to learning a song. I have learned different strumming patterns, proper hand placement and so much more. Though I may not be Keith Richards or Jimi Hendrix, I am reliving my youth when I practice guitar and feel successful at it now.
I drive up from Bridgewater which is about an hour drive. The reason I do that is because its been hard to find a really good teacher where I'm from. I've been looking to work with a professional, someone that really knows how to teach & performs & knows what I want to do. It's really hard to find a teacher like that....I taught myself guitar for a bout a year or two...In the past four months I've gotten much better than in the past two years.
~ Kevin, voice and guitar studentI like taking lessons with Kevin because not only do I find everything I learn applicable to my ultimate goal, but he also makes me feel comfortable and confident in everything I'm learning...I would recommend Kevin as a teacher to any player or any skill level...
The improvement in my voice have been tremendous and very quick actually. My range has improved and I feel like the overall quality has improved. It's got more a depth to it now which I like. I started taking lessons because singing was a hobby of mine that I wanted to get back into...Now that I can hear my voice improving I am becoming a lot more ambitious and I'm starting to audition for bands which is really fun. I'm really grateful to Lauren for helping me do this. It's great. My life is becoming pretty cool.

I'm a 53 year old lawyer with three teenagers. I started taking lessons with Lauren last year and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I have no music background and no “natural talent”, but I love music…I look forward to my weekly lessons because it’s a total change from the rest of my life. Her approach is steady and gauged towards results.. After a year, I’m playing the Stones, Eagles and Buffet with enough skill to earn compliments from my wife and kids, difficult critics to say the least."
- George M, guitar studentI really enjoyed working with you because your teaching strategy keeps the student constantly motivated, thus, gradually bringing out the best in them. :) I would love to work with you over and over again.

Thank you so much. You've totally given [Karen] the bug with the Coffeehouse. You are an absolute huge influence on her. I can't thank you enough. We look forward to another year of lessons with you....We are so proud of her and we absolutely love you as a teacher. You've kept her motivated. I don't think she would have stuck with it if she had any other teacher.
~Karen's Mom, guitar studentI like how Lauren could diagnose a problem in the sound and immediately give me and exercise to work on that and to explain what it's feeling like but then also explain what it shouldn't be feeling like....Lauren really cares about her students and their development....Most teachers that I have worked with never cared about the performance aspect and applying some of the things I'm learning."
~ Karina, voice studentLauren has gotten me from essentially nowhere with a guitar to playing the intros to some of my favorite songs in a matter of a few months. She is knowledgeable, patient, and flexible, everything one would look for in a teacher."
~ Larry P.I've been with [Lauren] 2 months now and she's taught me a lot. I've noticed the difference. [Lauren] encourages me every class. Every session I learn something new...When I leave the sessions I leave even more jacked up than when I came in
~ Phil, guitar studentLauren makes learning the guitar fun and she's very encouraging. From the very first lesson, she always encouraged my playing even though I did not think I really had a talent for playing guitar. She's great at breaking things down and making them simple for beginners. It's really cool to finally be able to do something I have been wanting to do for years.
~ Jason B.My range has definitely improved a lot. My lower range and higher range was a little shaky and wasn't very strong and I've definitely seen a huge improvement." "You've been very helpful and I have seen huge changes in my voice since I started. I can't thank you enough!"
~ Vanessa, voice studentThank you. I could feel my voice was more relaxed the day after our lesson. The exercises really helped."
